End of June update
Have done the maths for the last 3 months and it is depressing. We have never been so quiet in the summer, there have been several nights when we have had no hogs in any of the outside enclosures, which is unheard of. Looking at my notes some of the admissions had no chance of survival and were either dead on arrival or almost so, or taken straight to the vets to be helped on their way. We have at last started to receive a few of this year's youngsters, they are all weaned and eating for themselves, this dry weather makes finding natural food hard for all hedgehogs, but especially if you are little and have been used to getting your food from mum.

These are the combined figures for White Lodge and St Clements
These 3 were found in adjoining gardens at Millais, they quickly made a real mess of their pen. They are about a month old and can lap and eat for themselves. They are one girl and 2 boys.
