Reading the notes on the hedgehogs, there were so many really serious injuries and the rest were so thin and dehydrated, so few really stood a chance of survival during the dry summer months.
We can only hope that this mild damp weather continues into winter so that their natural food is still available to them and that we don't get a harsh, cold winter so that they may be able to build up their reserves a bit in time for next year.
